Where do I begin?
I am Canadian with Italian roots. I grew up in Hamilton, Ontario where my Dad cured homemade soppressata in our basement and my Mom squished tomatoes in the garage for jars of homemade sauce :)
I believe in family first. My husband Mike and our awesome son Max, mean the world to me. When I am not shooting, you can find me hiking, skiing or riding my bike with my boys.
I traded my Dad’s soppressata to move to New York City, where I lived for 6 years. I now feel pinch-myself-lucky that I get to live in beautiful North Vancouver, BC. Though I miss my parent’s home cooking, there is nothing like looking out your window and seeing lush green trees, beautiful snow capped mountains and the Pacific ocean all at once. I have lived here for 8 years now and I still can’t believe it.
I am a good observer. That is one of the reasons I love what I do. I have photographed a bit of everything. Beautiful buildings, landscapes that leave me in awe and food so ridiculously good looking, I have considered proposing to it. But nothing really compares to photographing you at your happiest and most radiant (most vulnerable, most excited, most…..) on your wedding day. To see you shine, surrounded by all of the people who matter most and capture those tender moments as they unfold all around you. It is a thrill and an honour for me.
I know that this is your once-in-a-lifetime and I want you to trust that I will be your eyes when you can’t be – that I will capture your parent’s loving glance as you exchange vows or your bridesmaids laughing big as they reminisce over all of the good times you have shared. So you can just drink it all in and be present in the moment. And that years from now, you can look back at your wedding photos and relive that wonderful day, over and over.
Nothing compares to that. I get goosebumps just thinking about it.
But enough about me. If you like what you see here, I would love to hear all about you. Please send me an email with your questions, ideas and thoughts and we can set up a time to meet in person or talk on the phone.
